Support & Upgrade Coverage

What is included in GOVERLAN Support?

GOVERLAN Support includes unlimited technical support (via email, phone, live chat).
Note: Activation/Transfer related issues are not considered support and you will never be charged for an activation or transfer request.

What is included in GOVERLAN Upgrade Coverage?

GOVERLAN Upgrade Coverage includes all major software updates (i.e. new versions).

How much Support & Upgrade Coverage do I get in the first year?

To ensure that you have a trouble-free implementation, the purchase of new or upgraded GOVERLAN licenses includes 3 months of complimentary Support & Upgrade Coverage. Extended 1 year Support & Upgrade Coverage can be purchased at any time.

Do I have to purchase the annual Support or Upgrade Coverage?

No, but you will not have unlimited technical support and upgrade coverage.
Without Support, one can access the Knowledge Base, GOVERLAN Forum, and User Guides.
Technical support can be provided on a per incident basis: $40 USD by email, $80 USD by phone or live chat.
If a software fix is required, there is no charge.
Without Upgrade Coverage, when a new version is released, you will need to pay for the upgrade.

How much is the annual Support or Upgrade Coverage?

1 year of Support costs 10% of the current retail price for EACH active GOVERLAN license owned.
1 year of Upgrade Coverage costs 10% of the current retail price for EACH active GOVERLAN license owned.

Can I purchase the annual Support and/or Upgrade Coverage any time?

Extended 1 year Support and/or Upgrade Coverage can be purchased at any time.
However, if Upgrade Coverage is purchased, we backdate it to the last date that the license had coverage.

What if I purchase additional licenses during my current Support and/or Upgrade Coverage period?

If you purchase additional licenses, Support and/or Upgrade Coverage will be co-termed with your other GOVERLAN licenses. When we co-term to your other licenses, we will account for the 3 months complimentary Support & Upgrade Coverage.

Will I be notified when my Support and/or Upgrade Coverage is about to expire?

Support and/or Upgrade Coverage is not automatically renewed. We will send your company an email notification 60 and 30 days prior to the expiration date. Your company may purchase the extended 1 year Support and/or Upgrade Coverage at any time.
